Cogon Systems, a healthcare solutions provider, has been awarded a research, development, test and evaluation contract by the US Army's Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center to develop advanced clinical decision support tools for hand held computer use.

The South Florida Health Information Initiative, a Miami-based consortium of healthcare providers, has chosen Cogon Systems to develop and deploy a health information exchange. The initial phase of the project is set to be completed by mid-summer 2007.
