THE mother who abandoned her one-hour-old baby in a bin bag has been told she will be treated with "understanding" if she comes forward. Police made an appeal for the woman to attend hospital to have herself checked and pleaded with her to claim the baby, named Zack by staff at Fazakerley Hospital.
