DALLAS, March 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Valhi, Inc. (NYSE: VHI) reported net income of $28.5 million, or $.25 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2008 as compared to a net loss of $14.2 million, or $.12 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2007.
