By DONNA GOODISON The Massachusetts Port Authority will spend up to $300,000 on a new strategic plan to address future growth needs of its 200-acre South Boston maritime facilities, including the acquisition of surrounding land. The authority is in talks with El Paso Corp.

Aug. 9--LONG BEACH -- Officials with the PierPass night operations program at the Port of Long Beach said Monday the plan has drawn more users than projected and appears to have reduced daytime truck traffic on the Long Beach (710) Freeway during its first two weeks.
