SURVIVING stars of classic British comedy Dad's Army reunited yesterday to celebrate the show's 40th anniversary. Ageing cast and crew gathered in central London to reminisce about the show.
DAD'S Army was a British sitcom about the Home Guard in the Second World War. Written by Jimmy Perry and David Croft it was broadcast by the BBC between 1968 and 1977. The series ran for 80 episodes in total, plus a radio series, a feature film and a stage show.
