By John McGonigle Peregrine falcons are making a comeback It is absolutely wonderful seeing bald eagles regularly along the Susquehanna River, and across the state. Not seen often, but finally there again, are peregrine falcons, nesting at two cliff sites along the river.
The population of bald eagles has rebounded so dramatically in Pennsylvania that the species may soon be moved off the state's endangered list and accorded the less serious status of a threatened species.
