Free-agent pitcher Daniel Cabrera officially said 'so long' to Baltimore Monday, signing a one-year contract with Washington for $2.6 million. Cabrera, a 27-year-old right-hander whose season ended in September with elbow pain, passed a mandatory physical. Baltimore didn't offer him a contact. Cabrera was 8-10 with a 5.25 earn-run average in 30 starts last season.
