IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden has earned the top spot on Brand Affinity Technologies' monthly ranking of Rising Sports Stars.
Darren McFadden's 5-yard touchdown run with 1:07 to play Sunday gave the Oakland Raiders a 13-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. JaMarcus Russell completed only 7 passes on 24 attempts for 109 yards but hit Tom Watkins on a 28-yarder that set up McFadden's score. The game-winner came just over a minute after Matt Cassel had sent the Chiefs (0-2) ahead with a 29-yard touchdown pass to Dwayne Bowe. Sebastian Janikowski kicked 48- and 54-yard field goals for the Raiders (1-1) and Ryan Succop booted a 23-yarder for Kansas City.
