LOS ANGELES, Oct.

Actress Gabrielle Union is joining the cast of the new U.S. fall drama series FlashForward, ABC said Tuesday. She will play the recurring role of Zoey, a criminal defense attorney who will have a romantic arc on the show, the network said.

The science fiction pilot Flash Forward has been picked up by ABC and given a 13-episode order, the network says.
