The comedy team of Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders will be honored with a fellowship at Sunday's British Academy of Film and Television Arts TV awards show. The duo, who met in 1978 at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, co-starred in the BBC's French & Saunders sketch comedy series and numerous TV specials. Saunders has also starred in the situation comedy Absolutely Fabulous, while French headlined her own show The Vicar of Dibley.

Kazakhstan broadcaster, the Khabar Agency, has bought the rights to air the award-winning, British sit-com "The Vicar of Dibley," the BBC said. The show is about Geraldine Granger, a vivacious vicar who shakes things up in a small British village.
