By RICH HEWITT; OF THE NEWS STAFF DEER ISLE - A Brewer man faces several charges after he was arrested late Tuesday night in connection with a hit and run accident on the Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge earlier that night.

DEER ISLE - Construction will begin on the Deer Isle-Sedgwick bridge Monday, April 2. Flaggers will direct traffic around limited lane closures until April 16. One-lane traffic will begin in November. Workers will be on site day and night.
