YPSILANTI, Mich., Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan is pleased to announce: Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia, its third annual fundraising walk at the Detroit Zoo. Walkin' on the Wild Side for Hemophilia takes place on Sunday, August 28, 2011.

A male polar bear has been brought from the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago to mate with two females at the Detroit Zoo. The matchmaking was done by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Species Survival Plan, WDIV-TV, Detroit, reported.
