By DIANA BOWLEY; OF THE NEWS STAFF DEXTER - SAD 46 residents voted Tuesday to consolidate the district's elementary and middle schools into a new $30 million school to be constructed in Dexter.

By DIANA BOWLEY; OF THE NEWS STAFF DEXTER - The concept design for a proposed new SAD 46 elementary- middle school embraces energy efficiency as well as features that are unique in other Maine schools.

DEXTER- A progress report on the proposed construction of a $29 million school for kindergarten through grade eight will be given next week during a public meeting. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Dexter Middle School.
