By Erik German, Newsday, Melville, N.Y. Jul. 28--A cluster of thunderstorms rained and hailed its way across Long Island yesterday, casting down lightning bolts that injured several residents, burned at least one home and disrupted electricity for tens of thousands of power customers.

Six people were taken to the hospital when a fire broke out at a Long Island, N.Y., home owned by rapper 50 Cent Friday morning, fire officials said. I'd say there is a strong -- a strong, strong -- possibility that it is suspicious, Dix Hills Fire Department Chief Larry Feld told Newsday.

A raging blaze one fire official called "definitely suspicious" torched a Dix Hills home at the center of a legal dispute involving rapper 50 Cent and his ex-girlfriend.
