Excerpt from report by Interfax-Ukraine news agency Dnipropetrovsk, 16 July: The trade union of steel industry workers and miners of Ukraine [TUSIWMU] and the trade union committee of the Arcelor Mittal Kryvyy Rih steel plant (formerly known as Kryvorizhstal) have got no complaints about the fulfilment of social programmes by the plant's owner [one of the world's largest steel producers, Mittal Steel], the head of the TUSIWMU's central committee, Volodymyr Kazachenko, said.
