A hearing regarding gun possession charges against New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress was postponed Tuesday until June 15. Burress's attorney Benjamin Brafman said he was working with prosecutors on a plea agreement that would allow Burress to play in the NFL this coming season. Burress, 31, was charged with two felony counts of illegal gun possession related to a November incident at a New York night club in which he accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Minnesota won its first division title in eight years Sunday on Ryan Longwell's 51-yard field goal as time expired in a 20-19 victory over the New York Giants. The Vikings (10-6) won five of their last six games of the season to win the NFC North. Adrian Peterson rushed 21 times for 103 yards and a touchdown in his 10th 100-yard game this season.
