Dominik Hasek, who was one of the NHL's top goalies, is coming out of retirement to play for a team in the Czech Republic, where he began his career.

Detroit Red Wings goaltender Dominik Hasek announced Monday he is retiring from the National Hockey league. The 43-year-old Czech product, nicknamed The Dominator, is throwing in the towel after playing in the NHL for 16 years.
