GameStop (NYSE:GME), the world's largest video game and entertainment software retailer, today announced that it will host a collection of "Lunar Game Fests" at approximately 3,500 GameStop stores, celebrating the midnight release of Blizzard Entertainment(R)'s World of Warcraft(R): Wrath of the Lich King(TM) on Thursday, November 13, 2008.

GameStop Corp. (NYSE:GME), announced today it will host events on Saturday, June 28, 2008, at more than 600 of its U.S. stores in celebration of the midnight launch for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. Events will continue at more than 2,300 stores on Sunday, June 29, beginning at 9 a.m.

Sony Corp. issued a warning Tuesday against false promotional offers for its upcoming PlayStation 3 video game console. A number of Web sites have been promoting pre-orders on discounted or bulk shipments of the game system - without the cooperation of Sony.
