By Scott Waldman, Albany Times Union, N.Y. Jun. 22--BETHLEHEM -- Full-day kindergarten will be offered by the Bethlehem Central School District. The Board of Education capped months of discussion on Wednesday night by approving the program, which will be added during the 2009-10 school year.
First Presbyterian Church of Baton Rouge closed its full-day day care last month, because, church leaders say, the congregation needed to focus its energy on other ministries and an upcoming building program. The church will continue to offer a mother's day out/preschool operation from 9 a.m.

Anew school in Rio Rancho is giving special education preschool students a jump on their educations by providing a wide range of activities and services. The Rio Rancho Public Schools opened its Early Learning Center this fall to centralize and expand the district's preschool education program.
