EMPLOYERS in East Lothian have signed a pledge to challenge the stigma associated with mental illness.

ROCK bands and live singers will be performing at an afternoon event to raise funds for children with special needs. The East Lothian group, Special Kids in Play (SKIP) is holding SKIP Rocks! in Musselburgh tomorrow.

OPEN-AIR concerts, comedy and children's entertainers are part of an eclectic line-up for the first Fringe by the Sea festival in East Lothian. A series of performances are planned for North Berwick's three- day festival, including some of the best local jazz, folk and pop musicians.

THEATREGOERS are being invited to take their partners to a new comedy murder-mystery set at a village ceilidh. The Accidental Death of an Accordionist is at Glenkinchie Distillery, East Lothian, before its three-week run at the Fringe. (c) 2008 Evening News; Edinburgh (UK).
