BIRMINGHAM International Airport has voted Eastern Airways as its most punctual carrier. The independent airline, which runs flights to Newcastle and the Isle of Man, came in ahead of larger companies including Ryanair, flybe, bmibaby and Monarch.

Northern Lincolnshire airline Eastern Airways has been nominated for a prestigious travel industry award. The Humberside Airport-based company has been shortlisted as Best UK Domestic Airline For Business at The Buying Business Travel Diamond Awards 2009.

UK REGIONAL airline, Eastern Airways, which flies from Birmingham International Airport, has been nominated for a prestigious travel industry award in the category "Best UK domestic airline for business".

PILOTS of two jets that almost collided have been slammed over the incident. An RAF Tornado F3 and Eastern Airways Jetstream passenger plane came close on September 11 last year. The near miss came at 9500ft near Aberdeen Airport.

gategroup, a provider of airline catering services, has agreed to enter into a joint venture with Eastern Airways. This venture will deal with ground handling and catering activities.
