NEW YORK, Dec. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning January 2nd and running through January 23rd, the Lower East Side Ecology Center and Tekserve, New York's largest independent Apple store and service facility, are co-sponsoring a total of ten "After the Holidays" electronic waste recycling events.

A new report issued last week by the Ecology Center says that car interiors and car seats are becoming less toxic than in previous years, although the “new car smell” continues to carry harmful toxins associated with cancer and allergies.
