An agent for former Ohio State running back Beanie Wells says the Arizona Cardinals' first-round pick has signed a five-year deal with the NFL franchise. Agent Adam Heller said Saturday his client's deal with the Cardinals includes a club option for the fifth year, The Arizona Republic reported.
The Arizona Cardinals released veteran running back Edgerrin James Tuesday. James, 30, rushed for just 514 yards and three touchdowns on 133 carries while adding 12 receptions for 85 yards in 2008, his third season with Arizona.
