Sears Holdings has announced the election of Kevin Rollins as its director. Mr Rollins is the former president and CEO of Dell and currently a senior adviser to the private investment firm TPG Capital. His election increases the number of Sears Holdings's directors to eight.
The Pittsburgh area in 2006 ranked as the 24th-largest exporting area in the country, sending nearly $8.3 billion in goods worldwide, new U.S. Commerce Department data show. The region moved up from 27th place in 2005, when it exported nearly $6.9 billion in goods.
