By Teddy Ng and Joseph Li HONG KONG: Incumbent chief executive (CE) Donald Tsang won a landslide victory yesterday to continue serving as Hong Kong' top leader. Tsang was elected with 649 votes of the 772 valid votes cast by Election Committee (EC) members.

Donald Tsang Yam Kuen was overwhelmingly re-elected to a third term as chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

HONG KONG - Hong Kong's leader said he tendered his resignation Thursday because of failing health and repeatedly denied speculation China pushed him out in a bid to tighten its grip on the former British colony and halt a movement toward greater democracy.
