Eneco has submitted a permit request and an environmental impact assessment for the construction of an offshore wind farm in block Q10 in the North Sea. Eneco's new division New Energy has submitted the documents recently.

Dutch power and gas supplier Eneco has opened its first NRGspot public charge location in Rotterdam, where electric vehicles can be charged 24 hours-a-day. Eneco ensures that the charge point will exclusively supply Ecostroom, Eneco's brand of green electricity.

Wind cooperative De Windvogel and Dutch energy company Eneco have started a joint pilot project which allows citizens who are the co-owners of a wind turbine, to use the generated power themselves. The project starts with 120 participants.
