ATLANTA and INGLEWOOD, Colo., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- CNN and EchoStar Communications Corporation today announced the availability of CNN Enhanced TV, a new content-rich interactive news service offering through EchoStar's DISH Network(TM) satellite TV service.

Twenty-eight companies, including some major content owners such as Walt Disney-ABC Enhanced TV, supported the recent interoperability event held by Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs(R)) for the OpenCable(TM) Application Platform (OCAP(TM)) and for enhanced TV (eTV).
