Ephrata High School junior Logan Auker has won the first Pennsylvania School Boards Association architectural design competition. The competition was open to all of Pennsylvania's school districts and vocational schools. Nearly 60 students competed.

By Anonymous Ephrata Area School District dedicated its new Outdoor Learning Center Thursday afternoon. The 2,000-square-foot outdoor pavilion has 12 hard tables for labs. It has a large room with eight garage doors to allow room to bring in tractors and other farm equipment.
