Paul Hoover's 10th-inning RBI single Sunday lifted the Philadelphia Phillies to a 7-6 win over Florida in their regular-season finale. Hoover's only hit of the game broke a 6-6 tie with two outs in the bottom of the 10th. Philadelphia's Miguel Cairo had two hits -- one a solo homer.

Eric Bruntlett made history Sunday when he was involved in a game-ending triple play in the Philadelphia Phillies' 9-7 win over the Mets at New York. Bruntlett, playing second base, caught Jeff Francoeur's line drive and doubled up Luis Castillo on second base for the second out before spinning around and tagging Daniel Murphy to complete the 14th unassisted triple play in major league history. It's hard to know how to react to it, a surprised Bruntlett said on the team's Web site.
