US-based Excella Communications has selected Zhone Technologies's Malc platform to support its EFM and high-speed DSL service expansion. Zhone is a provider of communications network equipment for telephone companies and cable operators.

Excella Communications, a fully integrated telecommunications and network services provider will supply Switch Communications Group with its hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) platform throughout its Las Vegas facilities including the SuperNAP.
