By Kathleen Gorman, The Oregonian, Portland, Ore. Oct. 12--CORNELIUS -- On a cloudy October workday, Sherrill Juneman has left her banker's job behind and is busy planting twin berry shrubs on the banks of the Tualatin River.

Scientists testing the beds of streams around Portland found the residue of the region's medicine cabinets and coffee shops. The list of compounds includes many known by such names as Prozac, Tagamet, Benadryl, and Micatin, as well as the caffeine that makes the Northwest edgy.

By Luciana Lopez, The Oregonian, Portland, Ore. Jan. 24--Metro's greenspace bond could help Tigard get more parks, a possibility the City Council will discuss tonight as it weighs what Tigard could do with the $1.3 million it could get if the bond passes this fall.

Aug. 23--Tigard's plan to extend Southwest Wall Street over Fanno Creek could be cut short tonight, when the City Council considers withdrawing Tigard's bid for a new railroad crossing allowing the street to run from Southwest Hall Boulevard to Southwest Hunziker Street.
