The late U.S. artist Andrew Wyeth's final painting, Goodbye, is to be published for the first time in the 2009 edition of Island Journal. The Journal is the Rockland, Maine, Island Institute's annual magazine.

By From staff reports Portland glass artist Benjamin Coombs shows off 12 glass sculptures in his exhibit, "Nautical Still Life," at the Daniel Kany Gallery in Portland. The exhibit opens Friday with a reception from 5 to 8 p.m. and runs through Sept. 29.
