FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), today broke ground on its largest solar facility and first outside the U.S., when it began construction of its new Central and Eastern European gateway at the Cologne/Bonn, Germany, airport. The hub is slated for completion in 2010.

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx and an express transportation company, has launched its inaugural revenue flight using a Boeing 757 freighter. The new flight provides cargo service between the Memphis International Airport and the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport eight times per week.

FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) will now provide users of Microsoft Office Outlook, the world's largest email application, the ability to connect directly to FedEx shipping services. FedEx made its announcement during the keynote event at the 2008 Microsoft Office System Developer Conference.
