By CHRIS MUSSON CHILDREN as young as eight launched a series of ambushes on buses, hurling stones at drivers leaving a Glasgow depot. The wrecking spree in Scotstoun is thought to have caused damage which will cost GBP1400 to repair.

PASSENGERS are to get better bus services to and from Glasgow city centre from this weekend. First Glasgow is putting on faster and more frequent services for Kirkintilloch, Bishopbriggs, Lenzie and Harestanes with buses up to every eight minutes into Glasgow from Sunday.
