By Joie Tyrrell, Newsday, Melville, N.Y. Aug. 26--A second school district confirmed Friday that the Glen Cove man accused of killing and dismembering a neighbor was a student teacher while studying education at Hofstra University.

Sewanhaka Central High School District named Gloria M. O'Connor assistant superintendent for personnel and administration. She had been principal of Floral Park Memorial High School. The Elmont Union Free School District named Al Harper superintendent of schools.
