The Mariners won for the fourth time in five games, chipping away with 12 hits after Baltimore's Luke Scott hit a two-run homer in the first. Branyan singled in the first of Seattle's three runs in the third, delivered a sacrifice fly in the fifth and produced his 14th homer of the season in the seventh. Garrett Olson (1-1), making a spot start for the Mariners, got the win by limiting Baltimore to two runs over five innings.
