Gulf Ethanol, an alternative energy company focused on the development of the cellulosic ethanol, has implemented its third-generation feedstock pre-processing unit. The company said that it is now expanding its testing protocols beyond sorghum and corn to sawdust, switchgrass and grass clippings.
