By ERYL CRUMP A SHAKE-UP of post-16 education could take place in Gwynedd which could see sixth forms closed in the latest schools bombshell for the county. Despite the fury of parents and teachers at plans to scrap 29 primary schools, Gwynedd councillors are considering further swings of the axe.

FREE compost bins are on offer from a North Wales council. Gwynedd Council's recycling unit has over 1,000 of the bins to hand out. They were obtained as part of a scheme organised by the Wales Assembly Government and Waste Awareness Wales to encourage more people to compost at home.
