By Madelyn Pennino Staff Parents in Hempfield School District will have the option of sending their children to a daycare center that is opening at Landisville Intermediate Center.
Hempfield School Board named James A. Dague as the principal of Centerville Middle School at its meeting on Tuesday. Dague succeeds William Cackovic, who will retire as principal at the end of the present school year after more than 30 years in education.
Dr. Linda Silverman, of the Gifted Development Center in Denver, Colo., and author of "Upside-Down Brilliance: The Visual-Spatial Learner," will give a talk on visual-spatial learning from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Centerville Middle School, 865 Centerville Road.
