Sep. 8--OLYMPIA -- Republican lawmakers said Wednesday they have a plan to cut gas and diesel prices 31 cents a gallon, virtually overnight. How? Temporarily suspend the state's fuel tax. "Until things stabilize, I think this would be a good thing to do," said Rep. John Ahern, R-Spokane.
