By Ken Dey, The Idaho Statesman, Boise Aug. 19--The new Costco in Nampa will open at 8 a.m. Wednesday. The opening of the members-only warehouse store has been a long-awaited event for Canyon County shoppers, who have had to drive to Boise if they wished to shop at a Costco.

By The Idaho Statesman, Boise Aug. 8--The Nampa School District is restricting public access to the Nampa High School football field and stadium to allow for reseeding and maintenance work through early September. Public use of the track will be permitted during this time.

By The Idaho Statesman, Boise Jul. 31--Tickets to the Rolling Stones concert Nov. 14 at Nampa's Idaho Center will go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 7 at ICTickets outlets, promoter LiveNation confirmed. Ticket prices still have not been announced, but that information should be made public today.
