By Anonymous French energy firm Areva says it plans to have an environmental impact statement filed with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission by October for its proposed $2 billion Eagle Rock uranium enrichment plant outside Idaho Falls.

By The Idaho Statesman, Boise Feb. 22--Some legislators want Idaho hospitals to publish their infection rates. Rep. Janice McGeachin, R-Idaho Falls, is sponsoring a bill that would require the state's 43 general hospitals to submit that information to the Idaho Department of Health.
