HOUSTON, Aug. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Baker Hughes (NYSE:BHI) announced today that Darrell C. Howard has joined the company as President of the Integrated Operations organization.

Norwegian oil and gas company StatoilHydro has awarded the contract for integrated drilling services at its operations in Statfjord, Snorre, Gullfaks, Visund and Gjoa to Schlumberger Norge. The contract also includes exploration drilling on the Norwegian continental shelf.
