A Lancaster County Planning Commission lecture slated for tonight has been rescheduled. The lecture, by architect David Brain of National Charrette Institute, was scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Lancaster campus of Harrisburg Area Community College. It will be held at the same place and time Oct. 6.

Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences' Center for Continuing Education and the Lancaster General Professional Development Council will hold three conferences at Burle Business Park, 1000 New Holland Ave.

To celebrate the release of its new album Storylines, Negative Space will perform at Borders bookstore in Lancaster. The performance will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, is free and is an all-ages event. Negative Space's album will be available for purchase at Borders.

TO THE EDITOR: Re: Beth Bonner's letter ("Dairy cow cartoon was accurate," Intell, March 20) regarding abuse of cows by dairy farmers. Before criticizing farmers, perhaps she should try walking in their shoes.

Lancaster Civil War Round Table will host battlefield guide Wayne Wachsmuth at Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, at 7 p.m. Thursday. He will discuss "Stuart's Ride: Mission Impossible? A Logistical Appraisal" during the Gettysburg Campaign.
