Tomorrow, Gloucester: A feast of favourite melodies will be given an airing at a concert by the Philomusica choir at Lonsdale Road Methodist church. A programme of favourite items from opera and musicals called Showstoppers features in the event, starting at 7.30pm.

Showstoppers is the title of the Philomusica choir's latest concert. The group is performing the songs and choruses from musicals by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Rogers and Hammerstein and Ivor Novello at Lonsdale Road Methodist Church, in Gloucester, on July 5.

SIR David Attenborough's award-winning TV series Blue Planet is being brought to Wales - on a giant cinema screen and accompanied by orchestral music. The Blue Planet Live! has already been taken to audiences in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Montreal and Copenhagen.
