Jacksonville defensive end Reggie Hayward will miss the rest of the season after fracturing his leg in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to Indianapolis. Hayward is expected to have season-ending surgery Friday.

Veteran free-agent linebacker Mike Peterson signed a reported two-year deal Tuesday with the Atlanta Falcons. Peterson, an 11-year pro, spent the past six years in Jacksonville.
