By Kevin Amerman And John Davidson, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Times Leader Dec. 11--WILKES-BARRE -- Although at least one municipality says it's apprehensive about becoming the vehicle for a $10 million loan for Wilkes University, school officials say there is no risk for municipal authorities.

Jul. 3--Jacob L. Miller Jr. and Arlene M. Miller are surrounded by history. Their farm, on Lake Road in Jackson Township, has been recognized as a Bicentennial Farm by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. It was one of four farms in the county to receive this honor.
