Baltimore right-hander Jeremy Guthrie scattered six hits over seven innings Sunday en route to a 7-0 Orioles win over the Texas Rangers. Guthrie (10-13) has given up just four runs in his last four starts, pitching 27 innings during that span. Brian Roberts, Jeff Florentino and Chad Moeller each drove in two runs and Ty Wigginton scored three for the Orioles.

Alex Rodriguez hit a three-run homer on the first pitch he has seen this season Friday, sending the New York Yankees to a 4-0 victory over Baltimore. Rodriguez missed New York's first 28 games following hip surgery.
