NORWALK, Ohio, July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Christie Lane Industries has launched a month-long pilot program to provide glass to a Cleveland recycler. Throughout the month of July, Norwalk-area businesses such as restaurants and bars will benefit from the program as Christie Lane Industries, a not-for-profit company that provides training and work for about 120 individuals with developmental disabilities, will be picking up glass for free. John Schwartz, director of Adult Programs and Facilities at Huron County MRDD, said Christie Lane currently recycles glass, but it is used internally to create decorative tiles, which Christie Lane Industries sells under the CliTile brand.
