The contest went to the extra session because Chicago outscored Toronto 42-29 in the fourth period and Ben Gordon's 22-foot jump shot with time expiring brought his team all the way back from a 90-77 deficit. The Bulls led 55-44 at the half. Andrea Bargnani had 28 points and six rebounds for the winners, while Jose Calderon scored 22 with 19 assists.
Andrea Bargnani led a balanced attack that pushed Toronto to as much as a 24-point lead Wednesday and the Raptors went on to down Milwaukee 115-106. Toronto has won back-to-back games for the first time in more than a month. Bargnani had 23 points, Jose Calderon had 19 and both Chris Bosh and Anthony Parker finished with 18. The Raptors made 12-of-24 from 3-point range and held a 92-68 lead late in the third period. Richard Jefferson led Milwaukee with 22.
Boris Diaw's season-high 30 points Friday helped the Charlotte Bobcats record a 102-89 win over the Toronto Raptors. Charlotte got off to a quick start, taking a 33-24 lead after the first period but the Raptors came within two points (52-50) by halftime.
